Editor's note:The 23rd China-ASEAN Expo is underway in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, running from Sept. 17 to 21. The event has brought together the flavors, crafts and cultures of Southeast Asia and beyond.
The national pavilions are drawing crowds of curious visitors. On offer are Thai chocolates, Vietnamese civet coffee, Philippine coconut treats, Malaysian snacks, Indonesian batik, Cambodian pepper, Myanmar jadeite and Nepalese wool felt handicrafts.
